Mikel Arteta says he wants to see togetherness among his Arsenal squad when they head to Crystal Palace (Match betting – Palace 16/5, Draw 12/5, Arsenal 10/11) on Monday evening.
The Gunners are looking to reclaim their spot in the top four after Spurs’ 5-1 thrashing of Newcastle United on Sunday propelled them to fourth on goal difference.
However, Arteta’s side do have two games in hand, including this one, over their north London rivals and are still in the box seat to secure the all-important Champions League place (Top four finish – 4/9).
They have been in fine form recently, winning six of their last seven Premier League fixtures.
Only Liverpool have triumphed against the Gunners in that period with Arteta’s side now looking settled throughout.
They prepare to face former Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira at Palace who could jump up to ninth (Top half finish – 7/4) with victory.

However, their recent home form has been poor, failing to win any of their last five in the Premier League, though they did secure a 4-0 win against Everton in their FA Cup quarter-final before the international break.
Speaking ahead of the game, Arteta has called on his side to show spirit and resilience ahead of what may be a tough encounter.
“For me it’s crucial because it’s the platform and the cement that you can build on,” the manager told reporters.
“Then obviousl you need the players, you need the quality, the understanding. You need the club and the supporters to be on board with what you are doing, to support it, encourage it. This is what we try to do.”
Bukayo Saka is available for selection after missing England’s friendlies against Switzerland and Ivory Coast, though goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is a doubt.
Attacking duo Wilfred Zaha and Michael Olise are both doubts for the home side.
