If we feel there’s something of note happening during the day – ‘we’ being the Betfred columnists at HQ – then we’ll be flagging it up accordingly.
We reckon you can never have enough opinions and advice from which to make sound judgements of your own, so we’ll be chipping in on a fairly regular basis in a bid to add to the fun for us, and far more importantly, you.
Tonight, at 8pm at the Brighton & Hove Community Stadium, Norway are odds-on favourites to beat Austria and book their spot in the knockout stages of the Women’s European Championships.
However, I believe Austria at 13/5 to win in 90 minutes is simply too good of a price to pass up.
Football isn’t as literal as this, but Norway have just suffered an 8-0 hammering by England – a team that could only manage to put one past this evening’s underdogs Austria.
In fact, that one goal conceded against England is the only Austria have conceded in their last four games, so it’s fair to say we’re looking at a team in very solid form.
Similar can certainly be said about Norway, but looking from an odds perspective I can’t understand why there’s such a big gap between the two sides.
Fingers crossed the Austrians can upset the odds and get us back on the winning track!
