There is a record-breaking 23-race schedule for the forthcoming campaign as we look at the Formula One calendar for the 2022 season.

Twenty drivers will take to the grid as Max Verstappen opens his championship defence at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday but there is a long way to go before the season finale in November.
