Jack ready for Old Firm battle

GVB confident Rangers can handle the pressure

Midfielder Ryan Jack says Rangers “will never give up or stop fighting” during Sunday’s Old Firm clash with Celtic at Ibrox (Rangers 13/8, Draw 11/5, Celtic 15/8 – Match Betting).

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s (pictured) men (2/1 to win title) will head into the Scottish Premiership clash sitting three points behind their fierce rivals in the standings, while Celtic (4/11) also boast a superior goal difference.

With just seven matches remaining in the season and the final Old Firm clash of the campaign set to take place at Parkhead after the league splits, Scotland international Jack knows exactly how important it is for Rangers to secure a victory on Sunday and he will be leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of the three points.

“We have to leave everything on the pitch,” Jack told reporters, as per the BBC.

“The main objective throughout the season is that we will never give up or stop fighting. We want to win the game and will do everything we can to send the fans home happy.

“We’ll have the full stadium behind us pushing us all the way and for us as players it’s important that we start the game properly and use the crowd to our advantage and get them right behind us.”

Scottish Premiership Betting Odds

Celtic are looking to regain the Premiership title they lost to Rangers last year in what is manager Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge.

The Bhoys are unbeaten in their last 25 league matches, a run that includes a convincing 3-0 victory over Rangers back in February, and captain Callum McGregor insists his side will be going all out for another victory on Sunday.

“It’s just important to stay calm and remember your principles, the way you want to work and the way that the team functions and do your job for the team,” McGregor said.

“You go there and you want to win, you want to win for your supporters, for yourself, for your club, everyone together. I speak about that all the time, we are all as one, everything we do.”

Rangers will be boosted by the availability of midfielder Aaron Ramsey (5/2 Anytime Scorer), who is set to make his Old Firm debut, but forward Alfredo Morelos has been ruled out with a thigh injury.

For Celtic, Kyogo Furuhashi (6/4 Anytime Scorer) is available for the first time since Boxing Day following a hamstring issue, while Tom Rogic is also set to feature, although James Forrest remains sidelined.
