Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch says he’s excited to have Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper back available for selection ahead of Friday night’s Premier League clash at Wolves (Wolves 23/20, draw 5/2, Leeds 13/5 – Match Betting).
Phillips and Cooper have both been sidelined since the 2-2 draw against Brentford on December 5 but could play a role at Molineux.
New manager Marsch has been delighted to see the pair training with the first-team and is looking forward to the duo being back in competitive action.
“He (Phillips) had a really really strong training session yesterday, really strong, as did Liam, played with intensity, played with the ideas that we are trying to implement with and without the ball so I am excited,” Marsch said.

“I am just really excited to get him on the pitch and so we are obviously getting closer and closer with both.”
Leeds (6/4 To Be Relegated) secured a valuable three points last time out with a last-gasp winner from Joe Gelhardt to earn a 2-1 win over Norwich City at Elland Road.
Patrick Bamford played the first-half of the game before being taken off at half-time. Marsch has confirmed there has been no injury set-back for the England international and he will be fit for the game at Molineux.
As for Wolves (15/2 Top 6 Finish), they will have to do without forward Pedro Neto due to a foot injury, while defenders Nelson Semedo and Ki-Jana Hoever are also sidelined.
In more positive news for manager Bruno Lage, as his side push for a top-six finish this season, Hwang Hee-chan is fit to take on the Whites.
