More goals for Les Bleues

New feature .... our columnists are on the case

If we feel there’s something of note happening during the day – ‘we’ being the Betfred columnists at HQ – then henceforth we’ll be flagging it up accordingly.

Reckon you can never have enough opinions and advice from which to make sound judgements of your own, so we’ll be chipping in on a fairly regular basis in a bid to add to the fun for us, and far more importantly, you.

If you were with us yesterday, you’ll know that our tip of the Netherlands to beat Portugal and both teams to score came in. That means we’ve landed two-in-a-row, and I’m aiming for the hat-trick here!

As my other winning tips this week have come from the Women’s Euros, I’m naturally going to focus on it once again. This time, I’m taking a look at the Group D clash between France and Belgium.

The French are one of the outright favourites for the tournament, and they demolished Italy 5-1 in their first game. Belgium, meanwhile are still looking for their first win, after a 1-1 draw with Iceland in their opening fixture.

A routine win for France the most likely outcome here – they’ve recorded 4-0, 7-0 and 5-1 wins in their past three outings and we suspect goals could be on the cards once more for Les Bleues.

They’re 1/9 to win the match, which there’s little to no value in backing, so I’m going to focus on the star player of France’s first game – Grace Geyoro.

She bagged a first-half hat-trick in the win against Italy, and Belgium have not kept a clean sheet in their last six matches.

I think she’ll get plenty of chances tonight, and she’s 2/1 to score anytime.
