Defending Nations League champions France will aim to get their campaign kickstarted with a win away at Austria on Friday night (Match Betting – Austria 4/1, draw 11/4, France 8/11).
Les Bleus, who are also the defending World Cup champions going into this winter’s tournament in Qatar, have drawn one and lost one of their opening two matches.
Didier Deschamps’ men began their campaign with a defeat at home to Denmark as the visitors roared from behind to win 2-1 thanks to a brace from Andreas Cornelius.
Then, in a repeat of the World Cup final in Russia, France once again threw a lead away as Andrej Kramaric’s penalty cancelled out Adrien Rabiot’s second-half goal.
Now, Les Bleus face arguably the easiest match on paper when travelling to Austria on Friday night.

Ralf Rangnick’s new team comfortably dispatched Croatia 3-0 in the opening match but were then beaten by Denmark last time out.
Ahead of the game – which star forward Kylian Mbappe is set to miss due to a knee complaint – skipper and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris (pictured) has urged his team mates to improve their performance as they seek back-to-back Nations League titles.
“It’s an important game,” said Lloris. “We’re lacking points and though the performances have been OK, we’re well behind Denmark and we must show that we’ve got the resources to win this game.
“We want to finish top of the pool and despite a bad start, we have got to try to finish this series of games on a positive note.”
Top dogs Denmark also host Croatia on Friday night (Match Betting – Denmark 17/20, draw 13/5, Croatia 16/5) and, if results go their way, the Danes could potentially be five points clear of the chasing pack with only three games remaining.
Elsewhere in the Nations League on Friday, Albania face Israel at home (Match Betting – Albania 5/4, draw 11/5, Israel 23/10) with no side having won a game in Group B2 so far.
