Today's Horse Racing Odds: Friday 13th May

Seven meetings are planned across the UK and Ireland on Friday, including more action from both Festivals at Goodwood and Galway.

Friday’s opening meeting comes on the flat as Wolverhampton prepares to host eight races on the Tapeta from 13:00. The going is standard, and punters can watch all the action until 17:05.

Betfred’s “Free Bet if 2nd” promotion is available in the opening contest, and customers may be able to earn a free bet of up to £10 if their selection finishes second.

Katie Scott’s Far From A Ruby (5/2 fav) looked back to her best at Ayr last time out and may take some stopping at the front of the market.

At 13:25, the first of eight races starts at Bangor-On-Dee, and the going is listed as good at the Welsh track.

Punters can take advantage of Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion in contests at 15:10, 15:45, and in the final race at 17:27.

Glorious Goodwood Betting Odds

Goodwood’s opening contest should get underway at 13:50, and there are seven races scheduled on Friday.

The going is good to firm (good in places) for day four of the Goodwood Festival, and there are two Group 3 races on the schedule and the Group 2 King George Qatar Stakes.

Four places are up for grabs in the feature race of the day at 15:35, and Mitbaahy (7/2) should be in the frame after some impressive performances of late.

Southwell’s eight-race card will run from 16:50 until 20:35 on the Allweather, with the going standard/slow.

There is another mixed card to come from Galway in Ireland, with fans of flat and jumps racing appeased across the eight races between 17:00 and 20:40. The going is good, and Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion is available in contests at 17:00, 18:00, 18:35, 19:40 and 20:40.

Newmarket’s six-race meeting starts at 17:10, while the final event should commence at 20:30, while the going is good to firm.

Last but not least, Musselburgh hosts six races from 18:10 on Friday. The going is good (good to firm in places) at the Scottish track, and punters can watch the action until 20:50.
