Today's Horse Racing Odds: Saturday 12th March

After Saturday’s spectacular Grand National brought the curtain down on Aintree’s three-day festival, the racing action continues to come thick and fast on Sunday 10th April with no less than four meetings taking place.

First up is a seven-race card at Wincanton, the action in Somerset going from 13:00 until 16:20, and there are extra places being paid out in the opener and the 13:30.

Sword Beach, for trainer Alan King, was a winner last time out and is 7/4 to repeat that trick in the opening race, although stiff competition is expected from hat-trick seeking Merry Berry (5/2).

Attention then switches over to Irish shores for an eight-race card at the Curragh, running from 13:20 until 17:20, and there is another extra place on offer in the 16:12, while the 15:40 and the 17:20 are both covered by the Super Extra Place Race promotion.

All Weather Championship Finals Day

It’s back onto English soil for the penultimate meeting of the day, a seven-race card from Stratford that begins with the 13:50 and concludes with the 17:10.

The 16:05 benefits from the extra place promotion and Goodnight Charlie, second last time out, is 3/1 to go one better this time around, while Artemision is expected to put in a strong challenge for trainer Ben Pauling at odds of 10/3.

Last, but by no means least, the final card of the day comes in Ireland with no less than seven races taking place at Tramore (14:15-17:30).

The 15:22 benefits from Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion, while there is an extra place being paid out in the 17:00.
