Today's Horse Racing Odds: Friday 13th May

There are four race meetings taking place on Sunday across the UK and Ireland with plenty of excitement on the cards and opportunities for Betfred customers.

Perth and Stratford play host to the UK racing while Irish action comes courtesy of Fairyhouse and Sligo with 28 races in all.

The day’s action begins at Sligo for seven races between 13:35-17:05.

The Sligo Park Handicap Hurdle at 16:30 sees Betfred offer its “Extra Place” promotion, meaning four places will be paid in the race and one to watch is Don’t Tell Allen (11/4) who arrives into the race on the back of a first career win at Wexford last month.

Next up is Perth where there are another seven races from 13:45-17:15, including the 15:30 Handicap Chase where one extra place is also paid out – with only four runners, this gives punters a great chance.

A potential winner is Planned Paradise (2/1) who won his last race and also has a couple of recent second-place finishes to his name.

Fairyhouse follows with seven races between 13:55-17:25, including a Fillies and Mares Group 3 at 16:15 – the Brownstown Stakes.

One to watch for that race is Henry de Bromhead’s Star Girls Aalmal (6/4) who won at Gowran Park earlier this year and was also two lengths off victory in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Stratford brings the day’s racing to a close with seven races between 14:01-17:31.

The first race of the day at 14:01 – the Cotswold Larder Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – sees Betfred offer a £10 free bet if your horse finishes second.

Appreciate (9/4) is in perfect form heading to Stratford after winning each of his last four races.
