It’s a bumper day of horse racing across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 13th April, with the action coming from Beverley, Newmarket, Cheltenham, Gowran Park, Southwell and Kempton.
We head to the East Riding of Yorkshire for the first meeting of the day, a seven-race card that runs from 13:00 until 16:35, and there are extra places to take advantage of in the 14:15 and 14:50.
The action then heads over to Suffolk for another seven-race offering at Newmarket (13:15-16:45) and there are no less than three events which have the added benefits of the extra place promotion, these being the 13:50, 14:25 and the finale.
Next up is Cheltenham’s seven-race card, the action running from 13:30 until 17:00, and there is an extra place on offer in the 15:15 while the 16:25 is the Super Extra Place Race.
Last Royal, a winner last time out, is 11/4 to repeat that trick in the 16:25, although stiff competition is expected from 8/1 Wbee, who boasts form figures of 21-111 heading into the contest over 2m 7f 213yds.

Attention then switches over to Irish shores for Gowran Park’s eight-race card, the action going from 15:40 until 19:20, and the 17:20 is a Super Extra Place Race while the 17:50 benefits from an extra place being paid out in it.
The penultimate meeting of the day comes from Southwell, the first of seven races going off at 16:20 and the finale scheduled for 19:30, and the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion covers the 18:30.
There is also an extra place to take advantage of in the 19:30 – a Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – and High Tech (10/3), who has form of 223 heading into the race, could be the one to beat.
Last, but by no means least, the action concludes with a seven-race card at Kempton (16:40-19:40) and the 19:10 – a Handicap Chase over 3m – benefits from being the Super Extra Place Race.
