US Horse Racing Odds: Sunday 26th June

Belmont Park

North American racing fans have 10 meetings to look forward to on Sunday, with nine cards from the US and a Canadian offering at Woodbine.

Gulfstream gets things going with nine races from 17:30 to 21:48 and Betfred are offering their Extra Place Race promotion on six races, the 18:05, 18:35, 19:07, 20:11, 20:44 and the closer.

Louella Street (SP) could be one to look for in the last of those races after recording an improving fourth when last seen at this track on May 26.

Next to Laurel Park for another nine contests between 17:40 and 22:06, with the Extra Place available on the 18:17, 18:49 and 21:00.

A winner here in better company earlier this month, Away To Return (SP) looks the one to beat at nine o’clock, although there will be hopes that fellow last-time-out winners My My Girl (SP) and Another Woman (SP) can also repeat the trick.

They’ve planned another nonet at Belmont Park, where they first go off at 18:00 and conclude at 22:12. The closer is one of four races to carry that Betfred offer, alongside the 18:32, the 19:32 and 20:03.

A drop in grade means Smokin’ Hot Kitty (SP) has a real chance to break her maiden for Christophe Clement.

After that flurry of nine-race efforts, it could be a perfect 10 north of the border at Woodbine from 18:10 to 23:02.

The Extra Place is again on the last race, while the 21:27 also holds that promotion and could belong to Artie’s Princess (SP), who has struggled since landing a Grade 2 in November 2020. This is just her third outing since but she should improve having come home fourth in her first start for 10 months in May.

Canterbury Park hosts the last of the early cards, with eight races between 19:10 and 23:10, before the later action begins at Pleasanton where they have another eight contests, going off at 21:45 and running through until 01:15.

There are nine races at Los Alamitos (22:00-01:58), while there are a bumper 11 outings at Prairie Meadows from 22:00 to 02:16.

Louisiana Downs’ seven races start at 22:15 and conclude at 01:03 and out west, Washington’s Emerald Downs hosts 10 contests from 22:20 to 02:46.

Finally to Mountaineer, where they go off eight times, the first at 00:00 and the last being the 02:55.
