There are six meetings planned across the USA and Canada on Thursday 7th July, with a total of 51 races to come from Canterbury Park, Delaware Park, Evangeline Downs, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Thistledown and Woodbine.
Thursday’s opening card comes from Delaware Park, where there are eight races scheduled from 17:30 until 21:00, and Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion is available to utilise in the 18:30.
Auld Lange Syne (SP) won at this track last month and that experience means he sets the standard, although stiff competition is expected to come from last-time-out winner He’s Not Curly (SP).
Next up is the nine-race card at Horseshoe Indianapolis, the action running from 19:10 until 23:20, and there is an extra place being paid out in the 19:40.

The focus then switches to Thistledown’s eight-race offering, which starts at 19:30 and concludes with the 22:46, and the opening three events are all covered by the extra place promotion.
In the opener, trainer Shane Meyers has decided to drop Grandgran (SP) down in grade and the six-year-old has every opportunity of claiming the spoils in this one.
Fans of Canadian racing have eight races to take in at Woodbine (22:05 -01:36) before the penultimate meeting of the day comes back on US soil with Canterbury Park’s bumper 10-race card (23:10-03:40).
Thursday’s final meeting comes from Evangeline Downs, where the first of eight races goes off at 23:30 before the finale at 02:40.
