US Horse Racing Odds: Tuesday 19th July

The starting stalls at Finger Lakes Racetrack

There are seven more race cards occurring in the USA and Canada on Tuesday with lots of exciting action to look forward to across the pond.

Colonial Downs, Fairmount Park, Finger Lakes, Fort Erie, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Mountaineer, and Thistledown are Tuesday’s host courses with a total of 59 races to keep track of.

It is Thistledown where the action begins with an eight-race card scheduled between 17:50-21:20.

The 19:50 Claiming is one of several races through the day where Betfred is offering its “Extra Place” promotion, meaning three places are paid out instead of two and one to watch will be nine-time winner Odds On (7/4 fav) though Leombruno (11/4) did win his previous race at Thistledown.

Up next is Finger Lakes which plays host to a nine-race card between 18:10-21:46 before Colonial Downs takes centre stage with another nine races going from 18:45-22;29.

Fairmount Park soon follows with seven races going between 19:00-21:48 and the 20:52 Maiden Claiming is another ace where punters can win with three places.

Call Me Drossel (13/8 fav) is the most likely contender in the seven-horse field, having finished second on his latest outing at Fairmount Park.

Ten races at Horseshoe Indianapolis come next with the schedule running from 19:30-00:09 before a trip to Canada follows for Fort Erie’s eight races between 21:05-00:21.

The 21:33 Claiming is another race to offer extra opportunities to punters and one to look at is Tomcat Black (EVS), who has won over both five furlongs and a mile, and is dropping down in class.

Mountaineer ends Tuesday’s schedule with a total of eight races running from 00:00-02:55.
