Wimbledon Betting Odds: Djoker too strong for Norrie

New feature .... our columnists are on the case

If we feel there’s something of note happening during the day – ‘we’ being the Betfred columnists at HQ – then henceforth we’ll be flagging it up accordingly.

Reckon you can never have enough opinions and advice from which to make sound judgements of your own, so we’ll be chipping in on a fairly regular basis in a bid to add to the fun for us, and far more importantly, you.

Once again, today I’m looking at the tennis, and the men’s semi-finals at Wimbledon.

I’ve picked out a few tips at Wimbledon already, which have been unsuccessful, so hopefully I can land a winner today!

One semi-final has already been decided between Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios, with the Spaniard withdrawing from the match due to an abdominal tear which he picked up in his quarter-final against Taylor Fritz.

The other semi-final, and the one we’re focusing on, is between Britain’s Cameron Norrie and defending men’s champion Novak Djokovic, who was given a scare in his quarter-final tie against Jannik Sinner.

Djokovic is the overwhelming favourite at 1/20 for the match against Norrie, and rightly so as he’s looked impeccable on the grass, apart from his blip against Sinner.

But there’s no value in 1/20, so I’m going to take a look at the Set Betting. Djokovic to win by 3 sets to 1 is 11/4, which I think is a decent price as the crowd will be behind Norrie, and he’s capable of taking a set from Novak. But ultimately, Djokovic will prove to be too strong in the end.
