Women’s Euros Odds: A potential Group B decider?

New feature .... our columnists are on the case

If we feel there’s something of note happening during the day – ‘we’ being the Betfred columnists at HQ – then henceforth we’ll be flagging it up accordingly.

Reckon you can never have enough opinions and advice from which to make sound judgements of your own, so we’ll be chipping in on a fairly regular basis in a bid to add to the fun for us, and far more importantly, you.

Yesterday, we tipped up a 1-0 win for the England Women’s team against Norway, but the Lionesses made us look like fools by winning 8-0.

Today, we’re sticking with the Women’s Euros and taking a look at a huge clash between Germany and Spain.

Both sides sealed convincing wins in their opening games, so tonight’s clash could be a potential Group B decider.

The Germans are eight-time winners – a record – while Spain are the third betting favourites (7/2 outright), behind England and France.

Spain may look the better team at the moment, but they’ve never beaten Germany, and Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s side have seen and done it all before.

Germany to win the game is 2/1, which I think is a decent price and worth backing.

It should be a cracker – both sides, as we’ve mentioned, won their first game emphatically. Tonight’s match will be tightly contested.
